As part of the new construction of this 6-story luxury apartment complex, Stewart was trusted to design, fabricate and install a custom steel staircase for the community building. The one-story staircase also featured a custom glass railings system, which our team masterfully installed on behalf of the manufacturer. We navigated the logistical challenges inherent to new construction projects in tight urban environments with the ease and expertise of a trusted company with a legacy as strong as ours.

Ingalls Stair

As part of an extensive renovation of the world’s first reinforced concrete skyscraper, Stewart Iron Works was tasked with reimagining the grand atrium staircase in downtown Cincinnati’s historic Ingalls Building. The marble and stainless steel staircase features a curved design as well as a mid-level platform, complexities that required expert skill and meticulous attention to detail to successfully navigate. Backed by decades of historic preservation and custom metal work experience, our team was able to honor this legacy centerpiece while renewing it for future generations to enjoy.
