Vanderbilt University’s Kirkland Hall
Type: Historic staircase guardrail
Linear Feet: 500
Coinciding with an extensive historic preservation project at Vanderbilt University’s iconic Kirkland Hall, we restored 500 feet of 150-year-old stairwell railing and modified certain sections to meet modern regulations. We also extended the railing in specific areas with historically accurate replications, including matching the custom rosette pattern featured throughout the railing system. Thanks to our own storied history of working with historic metals, we successfully breathed new life into this vintage stairwell.
