Confederate Stockade Cemetery

Tasked with restoring the historic fencing at this Confederate Officer stockade turned military cemetery, we completely dismantled the existing fence and refurbished it post by post until it met our exacting standards. We completed repairs and made modifications as needed, before powder coating and reinstalling it at this National Historic Landmark, along with a newly restored entry archway. We also added an anti-impalement cap for added safety while maintaining the historic integrity of this storied landmark.

Fort Worden Post Cemetery

Type: Historic Fence Replication
Linear Feet: 25

Working against a rigid schedule to accommodate an active college campus, we expertly navigated a tight construction site and other logistical challenges to deliver a series of custom railing systems for the University of Cincinnati’s new Sheakley Indoor Practice Facility and Athletics Performance Center. The decorative glass system, especially, required our team’s unmatched skill and attention to detail. We meticulously installed each panel to ensure a firm fit for a modern look that functions flawlessly.

City of Florence KY-18 Overpass

Type: Custom Ornamental Metal Arch + Decorative Fencing
Dimensions: 90-foot arch + 250 feet of fencing

Believed to be the first of its kind in Kentucky, the 90-foot ornamental metal arch we created for this major highway overpass features a combination of metals, including stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum. Due to the diversity of materials and size of the structure, we used a variety of fabrication methods to achieve the intricate design — including the City of Florence logo — at such a large scale. Made from 1-inch thick stainless steel, the letter R alone weighs nearly 400 pounds. After an extremely detailed fabrication process, we assembled the arch in its entirety at our shop to streamline troubleshooting and fine-tuning before sending it out for installation, along with 250 feet of aluminum fencing. Thanks to diligent planning and collaboration with the project architect and our installation partner SSRG, the project was completed one month ahead of schedule with zero injuries.

Kentucky Governor’s Mansion

Type: Steel Picket Fencing
Linear Feet: 1,060

For the Kentucky Governor’s Mansion in Frankfort, Kentucky, we fabricated and installed more than 1,000 feet of ornamental perimeter fencing. This custom steel fence featured a dual-panelled entrance gate and a completely unique design, with circular details and picket tops that were individually forged by hand. The result is an ornate and stately picket fence befitting an iconic storied landmark.
